From Fruit Stalls To Fortune Millionaire
An ordinary
fruit seller got involved in a stamp fraud ring and then used his intelligence
to fool the system and became the king of the scam world in a few years,
embezzling thousands of crores of rupees. But how did he commit such a big scam,
and how did he manage the risk of such a big scam, and what was the result? To
know, let's listen to the true story of India. Explanation of Abdul Karim
Telgir's biography series Scam 2003, based on Ablamban. Those who liked Harshad
Mehta's Scam 1992 series or the Lucky Bhaskar movie will undoubtedly like this
series too. So let's start. Around 1982, a man named Abdul Karim Telgi was
selling fruits by ferrying them from train to train in Khanapur, Karnataka
state, India. However, his technique of selling fruits was a bit unique.
Ordinary fruit sellers market their fruits. This way, my fruits are fresh,
formalin-free, and absolutely fresh. But Abdul Karim used to promote the
qualities of the fruits for his own marketing. Many people were interested in
this and bought fruits from him. Moreover, he was very mischievous in nature,
so he could easily fool customers. However, one day, due to the sale of these
fruits, he met a man named Shawkat. One day, when Shawkat bought fruits near
Abdul Karim, he gave Shawkat a photocopy of the certificate and gave the fruits
to Shawkat. Shawkat was quite surprised. He asked Abdul Karim who he was. Abdul
Karim answered fluently, "I am the future of the country. I sell fruits.
If I had a little more money, I would have set up a food shop." Shawkat
told him again, "I don't think you are a fruit seller." Then Abdul
Karim showed the photocopies of the certificates and said, "These are his
college degrees." His introduction: These certificates are worthless,
that's why he is selling fruits at 40 degrees Celsius even after completing his
B.Com. Hearing Abdul Karim's qualification, Shawkat said, "Then why are
you wasting your time in this restaurant? Come to Mumbai. I will arrange a job
for you there." Saying this, Shawkat wrote his address on the back of
Abdul Karim's certificate copy. Like that day, Abdul Karim returned home, but
his old mother was in a dilapidated house and his financial difficulties.
Keeping in mind the financial difficulties, Abdul Karim moved to Mumbai with
only one piece of clothing. When Abdul Karim set foot in Mumbai, he had a
shirt, a pair of pants, a pair of torn sandals, and a dream of becoming a big
man. With this in mind, Abdul Karim first met Shawkat. Shawkat had a rest house
here. He used to run a hotel business. Shawkat gave Abdul Karim the
responsibility of hotel management. At that time, Shawkat's rest house was not
doing very well, so Abdul Karim played a trick. He made a deal with all the
taxi drivers and drinkers of the city. They would bring clients to Shawkat's
rest house in return for a commission of five rupees. From then on, the image
of Shawkat's rest house changed completely. There were clients all the time,
and Shawkat's business and Abdul Karim's reputation both started to grow. After
settling down a bit, Abdul Karim fell in love with Shawkat's daughter, Nafisa.
Shawkat also got them married without any objection. After the marriage, Abdul
Karim made another difficult decision. He went to Madhyapatra to change his
fate. After spending a few years there, he returned to his country again,
inspired by his wife and children. After returning to his country, Abdul Karim
first got involved in some illegal work; he used to make fake passports and
certificates to send people abroad, but one day, he was caught in the
investigation of the crime branch. He went to the police station and was beaten
up. Abdul Karim's cellmate was a man named Kaushal Jaberi, who was also a
scammer. The two got along well, so the next day, Shawkat got Abdul Karim out
on bail with the help of a lawyer, but his reputation in his in-laws' house got
very bad due to this incident. Shawkat clearly told him that from now on, if
Abdul Karim does any wrongdoing again, he will have to handle all the responsibilities
alone. To get completely free from the case, Abdul Karim now goes to a lawyer
named Ganesh Kamle. He found this lawyer from Kaushal at the police station.
Kamle was a very good lawyer. He bribed the investigation officer to dismiss
the case. Then he asked Abdul Karim for 15,000 taka to withdraw the case.
This money is supposed to be a bribe to the investigation officer, but Abdul Karim's account was frozen, so he had no money. However, he managed to fool even a lawyer like Ganesh Kamal with his words. He made a deal with Ganesh. If Ganesh paid the bribe money on his behalf and gave him a 50% discount on the lawyer's fee, Abdul Karim would arrange a client for him. Moreover, if Abdul Karim's complex scam case could be dismissed, Ganesh's reputation as a lawyer would also spread. Finally, Ganesh agreed to the deal on the condition that he would bring 10-12 clients. Then one day, Kaushal came to meet Abdul Karim. According to Ganesh, the lawyer who never gave a single penny to anyone in his life had also given so much money to Abdul Karim. Kaushal became interested in this. He came to Abdul Karim and offered to join his business. Abdul Karim was also curious. He went to see his business with Kaushal. Kaushal took him to a warehouse. Then he showed Abdul Karim many share certificates. Big companies use these share certificates for their stock exchange, and a share certificate can be exchanged up to five times. After five times, these certificates are no longer valid. Kaushal has deals with people from various companies in the share market. He buys these share certificates from them and brings them. The most important thing is that these certificates are stamped with glue. Some of these stamps are worth two taka, some are worth five taka, and some are worth 10 taka. Stamping is mandatory on all government documents. Moreover, stamps are also one of the government's revenue sources. One of the things that Kaushal does is to use a chemical called acetone. First, he removes the glue from the stamps from the certificate and then uses another chemical to remove the ink from the stamp. Then, the stamp looks brand new. No one will be able to tell that these stamps have been used before. Kaushal takes these stamps to the Bombay Stock Exchange and sells them at a much lower price than the government price. In this way, he can earn around 13-14 thousand rupees per month. He has brought Abdul Karim into his business so that he can double his income. Anyway, Kaushal takes Abdul Karim and recycles the stamps and goes to sell them on the BSE. But it turns out that this time they are being given a much lower price. Later, Kaushal finds out that the Kolkata gang is supplying stamps here at a lower price than they are. That is why the demand for his stamps has decreased. Kaushal Abdul Karim is told that this Kolkata gang collects stamps in a slightly different way. When the stamps are new, they first go to the Old Custom House. The people of this Kolkata gang have made a deal with some employees of the Custom House. They send money in tiffin bowls under the name of biryani delivery. Then, when the employees return the tiffin bowls, they put the stamps inside them. In this way, the Kolkata gang can collect more stamps with less effort and in less time than the tactic. That is why they can sell the stamps in the market at a lower price than the tactic. Anyway, this time, both of them also think of collecting stamps like the Kolkata gang. That is why they first go to the Customs House in disguise. They wanted to target someone greedy for money, but the Kolkata gang has not hired him yet. So, they find someone like this. His name is Vittal. They talk to Vittal. They made a deal of 20% commission and asked him to come to the park in front of the customs house the next day with the goods. The next day, Vittal came to them with many stamp papers. Kaushal needed the stamps, but what he would do with the stamp papers was a completely different matter. So he got annoyed and returned them to Vittal. Suddenly, the Kolkata gang attacked them and started beating them up, and took the stamp papers away. In this incident, Abdul Karim felt that there must be some big use for these stamp papers; otherwise, they would kill them and snatch the papers. So the next day, Abdul Karim met Vittal again, and Vittal was beaten up and admitted to the hospital.
He can learn from Vittal that stamp paper is required for any kind of contract in the country, whether it is buying and selling land, lending money to someone or making a will, or sharing any property. Stamp paper is the biggest witness or document of any financial transaction. After learning about stamp paper from Vittal, Abdul Karim himself does some research about it and finds out that every year the government of the country sells at least 33 thousand crores of stamp paper, so now if they forge a small amount of stamp paper out of this 33 thousand crores, no one will be able to catch it. In the meantime, they can earn 70 to 80 crores. Abdul Karim returns and explains the matter to Kaushal, and Kaushal immediately likes Abdul Karim's idea, and together they start a new scam. The plan was made, but in the meantime, the government was reshuffled again. After the new government came, the doors were opened for multinational companies, considering the financial aspects. This could have been an opportunity for Abdul Karim. But suddenly, Hindu-Muslim riots started again around the Babri Masjid, resulting in extreme anarchy in the country. Still, Abdul Karim did not stop with his tactics. They found out that the stamps were printed at the India Security Press in Nashik, Maharashtra. Stamps of different values , like 100, 300, and 500, were printed there and then sent to different parts of the country. The stamps were brought to the railway station by truck. Then, in the presence of the guard clerk, head clerk, and station master, the stamps were loaded onto the train with utmost security. Then, the stamps were brought to Wadi Bandar station by train. From there, some stamps were sent to the old customs office. The rest are sent to the house, and the rest are sent to the yard, and from there they reach different parts of the country. So, what Abdul Karim has to do is to do it within this supply route. For this, they will try to get hold of some authority at a railway station. They first go to Wadi Bandar station and find out that the stamp papers coming from Nashik are counted here again, so they understand that if they steal the stamp papers before they reach Wadi Bandar station, they will definitely get caught. So they make another plan, and for that, first, they get hold of the Assistant Station Master of Wadi Bandar station. Then they get hold of the guard and the train pilot. Then Abdul Karim takes Kaushal to a shop where various printing equipment is sold. What else does he mean by the shop? They are making a film. One scene in the film will be like this: the hero steals a truck of stamp papers and burns them. For this scene, they needed a truckload of fake stamp paper. The shopkeeper was also a fan of the movie, so he agreed to Abdul Karim's words and gave him a printing plate. With the printing plate, they went to a printing press. The condition of the printing press was very bad, so they easily took over the owner of the press by showing greed for money. After that, they started printing the stamp paper secretly. Abdul Karim planned that they would mix these fake stamp papers with the real stamp paper with the help of the railway staff and steal the same amount of real stamp paper. In this way, no one would be able to identify the fake stamp papers among the lakhs of real stamp papers. And even if someone did identify them, they would not be caught because these stamp papers would be spread all over the country, so no one would be able to know where the scam came from. Anyway, they would go from Wadi Bandar station to Yardi to steal the stamp paper. Targeting the route to the station, it takes six minutes to reach from one station to another, so they have to complete their work in these six minutes. So Abdul Karim and Kaushal go to steal for the first time, and exactly as planned, they can steal the stamp paper. Then they start selling the stolen original stamp papers to different lawyers in the court, but they could not sell more than five or ten stamps each, so they could not make much profit. After the whole month of work, it is seen that after deducting everyone's commission, the two of them have only 35 thousand taka. Abdul Karim was not happy at all, so to make Abdul Karim feel better, Kaushal takes him to a nightclub, where he sees a bard dancer. Abdul Karim's head goes crazy, he wants to get her, but Abdul Karim still does not have the financial condition to afford her. No, he got the motivation to earn more money, so this time Abdul Karim went to a corporate house broker with Kaushal. The corporate house needed thousands of stamp papers, so they would try to settle here, but the broker said that a license was required to sell stamp papers. Without a license, they would not buy stamp papers. Since Abdul Karim did not have a license, he was in a dilemma. He inquired in more detail and found out that these licenses were issued by the office of a person named Varare. The problem was that it took several years to issue a license to someone in Varare, but Abdul Karim did not have that much time. He was trying to find a new way to get his license. In the meantime, one day, the police gave them a rate for printing paper.
They were afraid that this time they would probably get caught, but later it was found out that the police had come to search for illegal liquor stocks, and they escaped like this time. But they realized that if they continued like this, it would not take long for them to be caught. So Abdul Karim came up with a plan. There was a problem between the police and the people of the neighborhood due to the raids. He made arrangements to resolve this problem. He first went to the police officer and offered to donate 40,000 taka to the police fund. The police would then donate that money to the dargah of the neighborhood. This would create sympathy among the people of the neighborhood for the police, and the police's reputation would also be reduced. In return, the police would not bother Abdul Karim in any way. The officer accepted Abdul Karim's words. From then on, he became friends with the police. He even started hanging out with the police regularly at nightclubs. One day, in the middle of the chat, Abdul Karim asks the officer who can help him in this regard. The officer tells him about the local MLA Tukaram. He suggests to Abdul Karim that Tukaram has opened an NGO to eat people's money. Abdul Karim will pour a large amount of money into that NGO so that he will catch Tukaram's attention and can easily deal with him and get the work done himself. Abdul Karim donates 50,000 taka to Tukaram's NGO. After that, Tukaram really calls him, and a deal is made between the two. Tukaram will get Abdul Karim a license in exchange for Abdul Karim giving Tukaram a partnership in the business. After that, Tukaram takes Abdul Karim to the old custom house to the barrister. Ignoring Tukaram's words, he said that there were more than 1500 applications filed here, and he would not be able to give Abdul Karim a license by skipping them. Abdul Karim realized that Tukaram would not work for him, so he returned to the printing press in frustration. When he returned, he saw Kaushal sitting there, upset. Abdul Karim was spreading money like rice. This was not to Kaushal's liking. Kaushal's dream. He was small, his needs were small, so he was satisfied with small profits. Therefore, he could not accept spending money like water like this. Therefore, a dispute started between the two. The dispute turned into a fight at one point. After that, Kaushal broke off his partnership with Abdul Karim. In any case, Tukaram offered Abdul Karim the contract to load and unload the ship's cargo, but Abdul Karim insisted on getting the license. He baited Tukaram and said that Tukaram needed a lot of money to win the upcoming election, so if Tukaram somehow got Abdul Karim a license, then Abdul Karim would arrange money for his election. Hearing this, Tukaram took Abdul Karim to his party president, Garima Talpar. Abdul Karim seduced Garima Talpar, too. Then Garima Talpar sent a letter of recommendation for Abdul Karim to Bharar. As a result, within four to five days, Abdul Karim got a license to sell his stamps. After that, with the license, he went to Kaushal again and again talked about doing business together, but Kaushal turned Abdul Karim away because Kaushal wanted to walk, but Abdul Karim wanted to run, so they could no longer walk together. However, Abdul Karim stopped. No, he went to the corporate house with a license and came to work with them. From then on, Abdul Karim's business started to flourish. He also brought his brother Salim from the village to help him. In addition, he also involved Tukaram's two sons from the NGO, Suleman and Zuben, in his circle. With them, he would steal stamp papers from the train every night and sell them to various corporate offices, making a huge profit. At the end of the month, he would regularly send everyone their shares. But no one could have guessed how much profit Abdul Karim would make. However, he would have made so much profit that within a short time, Abdul Karim even bought a house in his wife's name. It was going well like this. In the meantime, there was a change of power in the election. Thinking that Garima Talpar had been defeated, a new leader named Imandar came to power, but Abdul Karim also paid him to subdue him. He left and continued to run his business as before. After a month had passed, a famous and wealthy man died. His two sons had a dispute over the will of his property. One of the two brothers came to Bhabia Imandar for help in making a will in his name. But to make a fake will, stamp paper worth about 75 lakh rupees was required.
So, Abdul Karim
helps them in this work, although there were many rests in the work, Liyar
Ganesh Kamle forbade Abdul Karim from doing this work, but Abdul Karim's leader
trusted Imandar, he thought that if there was any problem, he would definitely
be able to save him, but the problem became when Garima Talpara revealed all
the secrets of Abdul Karim. Since Garima had lost the election, Abdul Karim did
not send her any commission. Therefore, in a year of anger, Garima framed Abdul
Karim. Based on Garima's words, an inquiry team was set up against Abdul Karim.
Then, starting from the politicians to the police, everyone removed their hands
from Abdul Karim's head. But they made a deal with Abdul Karim. Abdul Karim
would not take anyone's name in court. In exchange, the police would only show the arrest in pen but would not put him in jail, so, like a deal,
Abdul Karim goes to court and puts all the blame on himself. As a result, the
court canceled his stamp paper selling license and ordered him to be taken into
judicial custody. However, as per the deal, the police, instead of taking him
into custody, sent him home. But this time, the car owner leaked the same
thing. As a result, there was a lot of pressure from the higher-ups, so the
police were forced to drag Abdul Karim from his house, bring him to jail, and
put him in jail. Although the jail provided a little more facility for Abdul
Karim than the others so that he would not reveal anyone's name, Abdul Karim
spent about a month in jail. This time, he met another new boy named JK. This
boy was also a small scammer. However, after a long time, in February 1996,
Abdul Karim was sent to jail. He was released from prison. He saw his
father-in-law, Shawkat, standing outside. Shawkat gave him some money and told
him to take the money and go back. Shawkat could not watch his daughter and
granddaughter's lives being ruined. Hearing this, Abdul Karim's joy of being
released faded completely. He became very upset. After thinking a lot, he went
straight to his father-in-law's house and said that he could not leave his wife
and children. He asked Nafisa if she would stay with him. Nafisa immediately
agreed to go with Abdul Karim. After that, Abdul Karim went to another house
with his wife and children. Abdul Karim also closed his business and said
goodbye to his brother and the remaining two employees. After that, Abdul Karim
lived a completely family man's life for some time, but he did not like this
life of poverty anymore, so he met Zee, whom he met in prison. After contacting
the boy named JK Abdul Karim, he asked him to come to Nashik and see if he had
arranged for Abdul Karim to earn money there. After going to Nashik, Abdul
Karim learned from JK that the damaged equipment of the press in Nashik, from
which stamp paper is printed, was sold separately at auction to different
people. Whoever was one of the buyers of that equipment met two staff
members of the press. Their names were Bapat and Chhatre. They had a serious
plan to earn money. For detailed discussions, JK made Abdul Karim meet them.
Bapat and Chhatre told them that the security of the printing press was like a
fortress. Not even a dog could enter there without permission. The ink, paper,
design, print, and everything used in printing were used perfectly so that no
one could copy them. Even after printing, all the stamp papers were sold. It is
checked again, and then some stamp papers are rejected because they are
defective. Bapat and Chhattre will mix some good stamp papers with those
rejected papers and bring them out in the name of rejects. After that, Abdul
Karim and JK will sell them in the market, and the profit will be divided among
the four of them. Abdul Karim does not like this plan at all because they will
not be able to make much profit from it. Again, they will not be able to
continue this work for long in the future because whenever the authority comes
to know that 500 to 600 stamp papers are being rejected every day instead of 30
to 40, then they will reject them again and catch them stealing. So Abdul Karim
cancels this plan, but understanding the half-heartedness inside the printing
press, he goes there with JK the next day as a worker and a mechanic. Seeing a
printing machine, Abdul Karim got a new idea. He bought a printing machine from
an auction and thought of printing stamp paper himself. For this work, he needed
the help of his deputy manager, Madhusudan Mishra. But Madhusudan Mishra was
very honest. He never took a single bribe. Moreover, Abdul Karim learned from
his father and students that the printing machine was disassembled into
separate parts and sold to different people. The biggest problem was that the
printing plate, which is used to make stamp paper, was not sold to anyone. It
was cut and destroyed in the presence of Madhusudan. Therefore, what Abdul
Karim was thinking of was not easy to do. However, Abdul Karim took the risk
and gifted Madhusudan a watch to impress him. Madhusudan got angry and insulted
Abdul Karim very much. Abdul Karim's stubbornness was crushed when he was
pushed out of the office.
He will commit
this crime through Madhusudan anyway. Abdul Karim will find out that
Madhusudan's promotion has been stuck for 10 years. Abdul Karim understands
that this is Madhusudan's only weakness. To attack this weakness, Abdul Karim
tries to promote Madhusudan. He steals all the savings of his wife from the
house and the forest of his father-in-law, kept in his daughter's name. With
that money, he goes to Tukaram, the cabinet minister, so that, in exchange for
this money, he can promote Madhusudan. But the cabinet minister tells them that
he will not help them. However, Minister PA Gupta makes them an offer. If they
give him the money, he will arrange for Madhusudan's promotion because he also
has many connections in the upper echelons. Abdul Karim takes maximum risk and
gives PA Gupta 25 without any guarantee. Whatever the case, Abdul Karim's risk
worked this time. Madhusudan was promoted within two days and made the General
Manager. After receiving the promotion letter, Madhusudan's integrity was
destroyed. He did not get any value for his 10 years of hard work, but Abdul
Karim illegally promoted him within just two days. Madhusudan could not get out
of this trauma, so he threw away his integrity and morality and joined hands
with Abdul Karim. After that, Abdul Karim completely arranged his plan. Madhusudan
first declared a printing machine invalid. Then Abdul Karim informed Abdul
Karim. This time, Salim Suleiman Zuben called everyone again, since the parts
of the machine were sold separately to different companies. To sell the stamps
to the public, Abdul Karim created five different company papers in his own
name, JK Salim Suleman, and Zuben, and submitted them to the security press for
auction so that they could buy all the parts themselves during the auction, and
since Madhusudan was present there, there was no problem in getting their
clearance. Besides, Madhusudan had another important task, that is, if they did
not get the printing plate they had been given, they would not be able to print
the original stamp paper. Therefore, Madhusudan removed the original plate from
the cover of the printing plate and kept it with him, and put a simple tin
sheet inside the cover. Then, at the end of the auction, he cut the fake plate
in the name of the original plate and destroyed it in front of everyone. No one
could catch them in such a big trick. However, the problem arose when Abdul
Karim bought all the parts and went to Mumbai. When he returned, all the parts
were there, but there was no printing plate, so he met Madhusudan again, and
after tasting the forbidden things, Sundar's tongue had grown much longer. In
exchange for the printing plate, he was demanding 21 lakh taka from Abdul
Karim. Abdul Karim did not have money, so he cooled Madhusudan off with a piece
of his wife's jewelry and promised to sell him stamps for 25 lakh taka later.
In return, Madhusudan would have to do some more work for them. Abdul Karim
needed government paper and ink to print the stamps. Therefore, he made a deal
with Madhusudan that Madhusudan would get Salim a transport license. Whenever
supplies were brought for the printing press, Salim would pour half of the
supply of ink into his own container, and the government ink would contain
dichloropropane. Pour it into it, the formula of the government and the color
they have will be the same, as a result, the same impression will be made on
the Ovo stamp, so after Madhusudan accepted Abdul Karim's words, he took the
number of the paper supplier from Madhusudan, within a few days, they got the
machine ready, the supply of paper and color also came to them, and after so
many settlements, they were finally able to print the original stamp paper.
Anyway, after that, Abdul Karim again got hold of the leader, Garima, so that
she would not cause any problems again. After getting hold of Garima, Abdul
Karim went to Bharar and got new licenses in the names of five people. Abdul
Karim also opened an office to buy and sell his stamp paper, although he had
opened the office to fool people, so from then on, he started printing stamp
paper in a hurry.
And within a
few days, he made a mountain of money, and at the same time, he bought the
whole system by bribing everyone from politicians to government officials, so
that no one could stand in his way, so he could earn more money without any
worries. One day, he saw one of his employees, Suleiman, buying an expensive
bike. He got very angry because if outsiders found out that they had a lot of
money, they would demand a lot more commission, and then their profit would be
gone. He warned everyone not to reveal themselves. Anyway, things were going
well like this, but suddenly a problem arose in front of him. A minister named
Fahim Sheikh, Abdul Karim's brother, Salim, was handling the business of
Karnataka. This Fahim Sheikh was the minister there, so he threatened to close
his business. When Abdul Karim personally threatened to close his business,
Fahim Fahim Sheikh met with Abdul Karim and dealt with him to run the business.
If Abdul Karim is to invest 10% in all of Fahim Sheik's businesses, Abdul Karim
is forced to accept Fahim Sheikh's words. However, he knows that the demand for
politicians will increase day by day, so he plans to field his brother Salim in
the next election so that he can gradually control the entire business of
Karnataka. For this, Abdul Karim advises Salim to create his own image in the
public. As the first trick to gain this public sentiment, they sent everyone
from Khanapur village to the Ajmer Sharif pilgrimage at their own expense.
Meanwhile, Abdul Karim's father-in-law, Shawkat, dies suddenly again. On the
other hand, his business was not growing very much because millions of stamps
were entering the paper market every day from the Nashik Security Press. Now
the government had become Abdul Karim's biggest rival, so he thought of
fighting the government, and for this, he would have to stop printing stamp
paper at Nashik Security Press by any means, so he went to Madhusudan again and
told him to stop printing the stamps for a few days by showing some maintenance
or technical fault. Then, there would be a shortage of stamps all over the
country. On that occasion, Abdul Karim would print a huge quantity of stamp
paper and supply it all over the country. In this way, he would increase his
business even more. Madhusudan, since he had been bought by Abdul Karim, did as
he was told and destroyed the printing machines for a few days. Then Abdul
Karim rented a floppy disk with a virus and asked him to insert it into the
office computer. When the rented disk was turned on, all the computers in the
entire customs house were infected with the virus. As a result, the supply of
stamp paper across the country also stopped. Thus, for more than 20 days, the
supply of government stamp papers remained stopped. Abdul Karim continued to
print stamp papers as he wished, but he could not print the stamp papers as per
the demand with one machine. Therefore, he bought more printing machines in the
same manner as before and continued to print in full swing. However, avoiding
Abdul Karim's attention, Suleiman started selling some black stamp papers in
black. No one could know about this. Meanwhile, Abdul Karim built the Dharmalay
School Madrasa in Khanapur with Selim. As a result, the public support there
completely turned to Selim. Thus, their planning was progressing well. In the
meantime, one day, Abdul Karim caught Suleiman stealing stamp papers and
selling them. Then, he took him to a warehouse and beat him up in a fit of
rage. Finally, he killed him. Abdul Karim felt a lot of remorse for this
murder. He used to hallucinate Sulaiman among different people, so he became
somewhat mentally traumatized. In the meantime, the 2000 elections started
again. There was another change of power in Mumbai. The ruling party first set
fire to Abdul Karim's house so that Abdul Karim would get a threat and accept
an offer from them. So, understanding the situation, Abdul Karim took a bag of
money to the newly elected Yadav and wanted to give him a business partnership.
Yadav was happy and gave Abdul Karim a place to build a new warehouse.
Abdul Karim
basically builds his own warehouse in Yadav's place so that Yadav doesn't
understand the scope of his business. Yadav will think that Abdul Karim doesn't
have the money to buy the place, so he is building his own house in his place.
On the other hand, the rest of the people will think that Yadav has a hand in
Abdul Karim's head, so they will not bother Abdul Karim anymore. Anyway, Abdul
Karim normalizes his business again, but Abdul Karim still hasn't stopped going
to that nightclub. After all these years, when he sees that birthday dancer,
Abdul Karim's mind becomes shallow. Like the other day, Abdul Karim went to the
nightclub again and watched the dance of that birthday dancer. Today, suddenly,
he wants to spend money on this girl, so seeing that he spends money on the
girl, a very rich man present there also spends more money on that dancer. This
is Abdul's matter. Karim's ego got a kick out of him. He started throwing money
at the bird dancer. At one point, when his money ran out, the man started
making fun of him, which hurt his ego even more. Abdul Karim's restraint, which
he had maintained for so long, broke down. He called someone to bring money to
show off. Then he started throwing money at the bird dancer. Seeing his money
rain, the rich man also left with a lowered face. After that, Abdul Karim spent
the night with the bird dancer. In the morning, when he woke up and was freshening
up, he got a call from Officer Dombe. Dombe said that Abdul Karim had thrown
about 9 million taka at the bird dancer last night. At first, Abdul Karim did
not believe it. He could not understand that he had wasted so much money last
night. But later, when calls started coming in one after another from different
quarters and their commissions, when Karim regained consciousness, he realized
how stupid he had been. Before he could get over this stress, the infamous
Nijilingam gang kidnapped Kannada superstar Jibhram and demanded a ransom of
Rs. 15 crore. Jibhram's fans got angry and started pressuring the government to
release their favorite superstar. They created chaos by setting fire to various
places. Therefore, the Chief Minister, DGP, and other senior officials sat in
discussions, and the government or the administration could not take any action
against the kidnappers because Jibhram's life was in doubt. Therefore, the
minister's PA came up with the idea that the government would ransom the
kidnappers and reconcile with them, and they would borrow the ransom money from
Abdul Karim. Meanwhile, Abdul Karim was trying to control the foolishness of
that night. Starting from politicians to all government officials, he agrees to
pay them as much as they want. He also keeps the phone numbers of the deals he
made with everyone and keeps them in the locker along with the safe, so that if
he gets caught later, he can use them to blackmail them. Anyway, Faim Sheikh is
given the responsibility of collecting the ransom money from Abdul Karim. When
Faim Sheikh tells Abdul Karim about the government's demand, he says that he
will give the ransom of 15 crore rupees, but the condition is that his brother
Salim should be made a minister in some department in Karnataka. Naturally,
neither Abdar Fahim Sheikh nor anyone from the government accepts Abdul Karim's
injustice, so Abdul Karim also refuses to pay the money. Seeing Abdul Karim's
arrogance, they now think of punishing Abdul Karim. A police officer named
Arvind from the Chief Minister's cabinet was given the responsibility.
Meanwhile, after watching the news of Abdul Karim's nightclub, his wife's son
went to his father's house in anger, so Abdul Karim sat at home depressed. At
that time, Suleman's mother came to meet him. Suleman's mother did not yet know
that Abdul Karim had killed her son. Abdul Karim explained to Suleman's mother
that Suleman had gone to the Middle East. She explained this to the woman and
sent her home. Abdul Karim had almost forgotten about Suleman, but today he
hallucinated Suleman again and traumatized him, making him senseless.
And that
night, on the orders of Officer Arvind, Abdul Karim's truck, loaded with stamp
papers, was seized from the road. The police told the media that there were 90
lakh rupees of stamp papers in this truck. This incident was also discussed in
Parliament, and a massive fight started between the government and opposition
parties. Meanwhile, Abdul Karim regained consciousness in the hospital in the
morning, and his wife and children came back in anger. At that time, Abdul
Karim received a call from Jake and told him that their truck, loaded with
stamp papers, had been seized last night before. As soon as Abdul Karim heard
this, he understood that the Chief Minister's cabinet had done this, so he left
the hospital and went to the cabinet with his brother Salim, Minister Faim
Sheikh, and 15 crore rupees and handed over the money to the Chief Minister's
P. Along with the withdrawal of the cases against his people, the return of the
seized truck, and his brother in the next election. After making a deal to give
a cabinet seat to Selim, the government frees superstar Jibram in exchange for
Abdul Karim's release, and the situation becomes normal. Meanwhile, Abdul Karim
is shocked when he goes to the doctor to find out about his checkup report. The
doctor tells him that he is HIV positive. Abdul Karim could not believe his
ears. He was close to the night club's birthday dancer, except for his wife. So
he goes to the birthday dancer and blames her, but the dancer again says that
he has regular checkups and does not have AIDS. Abdul Karim is quite broken. He
goes to his wife and apologizes, although he does not tell Nafisa about his
illness. After that, he goes to Azmin Sharif with his wife and daughter so that
she can apologize for her actions. He can return to the right path, but on the
other hand, another problem arises. An officer named Rajinikanth was
investigating a stamp paper fraud case, so he was transferred to another place
on the advice of Abdul Karim. Before being transferred, he gave a list to the
opposition leader Anna. Everyone on this list was involved in the stamp paper
fraud, and the mastermind of this list was Abdul Karim Telgi. Anna now exposes
the names of the stamp paper fraudsters in front of the media and gives a threat
that if the government does not take any action against such a big scam, he
will commit suicide by setting himself on fire. As a result, to save the
government's image, Abdul Karim was arrested again from Ajmer Sharif on the
orders of the DCP. He was dragged out in front of his wife and daughter. When
he came out, he saw that the minister's PA had also come with the police. PA
Abdul Karim is told that he will have to stay in jail for just three months,
during which time the elections will be held. After the elections, Abdul Karim
will be able to rule again as before, but after hearing P's words, Abdul Karim
gets angry and slaps him. Then he is forcibly put in a jeep and taken away
again. Abdul Karim is arrested and taken to Bangalore jail. One day, Salim and
JK go to meet him and tell him to stop the stamp paper business for now, but
Abdul Karim orders them to print more stamp paper so that they can make more
money and buy everyone. Also, Abdul Karim wanted to take revenge on Fahim
Sheikh because he is in such danger today because of Fahim Sheikh. That is why
he sent some evidence against Faim Sheikh to the opposition leader Anna. Anna
exposed them, and Fahim Sheikh's ministry went away.
Then the
responsibility of the stamp paper fraud case is given to an officer named Surya
Pratap, but the DSP tells Surya Pratap not to bring anyone who can ruin the
government's reputation under investigation, especially Faim Sheikh, to keep
him away from these troubles. For the convenience of the investigation, three
more inspectors are given along with Surya Pratap. Then Surya Pratap goes to
meet Rajnikanth and asks him how he got the names of 23 people connected to the
stamp paper fraud. Rajnikanth says that he only got the names of 22 people.
Abdul Karim Telgir's name was given by the DCP himself. His name was added to
the list later. Hearing this, Surya Pratap understands that Abdul Karim has
been deliberately framed. However, in the meantime, Abdul Karim makes a mistake
and asks Surya Pratap for a bribe. Surya Pratap understands that Abdul Karim is
definitely involved in the scam, so he threatens Ganesh Kamle and asks him to
go to Abdul Karim and find out who is involved in the stamp paper fraud. After
that, Surya Pratap starts an investigation on the remaining 22 scammers
according to Rajinikanth's list, but he cannot find any trace of these 22
people because Abdul Karim had already paid the rent and made fake licenses in
their names. Therefore, without getting any clues in the investigation, Surya
Pratap now asks permission to search the stamp papers of a truck seized by the
police a few days ago. After getting permission, he is shocked to see the stamp
papers being measured by the police in front of the media. He talked about
stamp paper of Rs. 9 crore, but there was actually stamp paper of Rs. 9 crore
here. From here, Surya Pratap got a lead and went to Mumbai with his
colleagues. When they reached Mumbai, they first went to Bird Dancer and
questioned Abdul Karim about him, and got the address of Abdul Karim's printing
place from him. They also went there. At that time, stamp paper was being
printed inside, but at that time, local people came out and prevented the
police from doing any investigation here. So Surya Pratap was forced to go back
with the officers. But before leaving, he went into the dustbin once and found
torn stamp paper and paint cans there. As a result, Surya Pratap was sure that
Abdul Karim was involved in printing fake stamp paper. However, the next day,
Abdul Karim appeared in court, and he found out from Ganesh Kamal that the
police had not filed any chargesheet yet. They both went to court happily,
thinking that Abdul Karim would definitely get bail today. But when they went
to court, Surya Pratap changed the whole game. He showed two different stamp
papers in front of the judge and said that one was printed in the government
press and the other was printed in Abdul Karim's personal press, but there was
no way to tell which one was real and which was fake. He also calculated the
exact amount of the stamp papers seized from the truck and said that Abdul
Karim had committed a scam of about 2.5 thousand crore rupees a year. Hearing
this, the judge did not grant Abdul Karim bail and sent him back to do the
work. At this, Abdul Karim got very angry and threatened the PA by calling him
and saying that if he was not released, he would reveal everyone's names.
Meanwhile, the parliament also started a lot of commotion about the matter.
Therefore, keeping Abdul Karim in Bangalore jail was for the state ministers.
It was getting risky, so the process of transferring Abdul Karim to Pune on the
instructions of Minister Yadav began. For this, DCP Halani was sent to deal
with Abdul Karim in jail. He promised Abdul Karim that arrangements would be
made to get him out of jail in return for his keeping his mouth shut. As part
of the plan, Abdul Karim was asked to send a car with stamp papers. After that,
the car with the stamp papers was seized in Pune, and it was said that Abdul
Karim was directly involved in it. And with this allegation, a case was filed
in Pune against Abdul Karim so that he could be transferred to Pune. Since
Abdul Karim had many acquaintances in Pune, it would be easy for him to get
released from jail. But Abdul Karim created a problem, and he was talking to
Rawat about this. Abdul Karim was transferred to Pune. In exchange for getting
the job done, he promised to increase everyone's commission several times, but
Surya Pratap was tapping Abdul Karim's phone, so he overheard their
conversation and came to know about their plan. Surya Pratap took the recorded
cassette and went to the leader of the Rolling Party, then revealed the whole
incident and also said that he had gotten the names of many politicians in the
phone calls, so Surya Pratap advised Abdul Karim not to let him go to Pune.
Surya Pratap knew that this politician was also involved in Abdul Karim's scam,
so he went to them first so that they would be scared, and to save their
reputation, he arranged for Abdul Karim to be kept in Bangalore. In the end,
that's what happened. He went to the parliament and demanded that Abdul Karim
be kept here. Abdul Karim saw this on TV and became even angrier. Calls PA
again, but can't reach him on the phone
Meanwhile,
Surya Pratap goes to jail and gets permission to interrogate Abdul Karim, but
Abdul Karim does not confess to anything. Before returning to his cell, Abdul
Karim says that you are trying to catch only one fish from a rotten pond. You
cannot clean the entire pond by catching this one fish, so try to catch the
rest. Saying this, Abdul Karim goes to his cell, but Abdul Karim does not stop
his efforts. He sends money filled with packets of sweets to big politicians
through Ganesh Kamle. So this time, Fahim Sheikh is framed in place of Abdul
Karim. After that, Abdul Karim is transferred to Pune Central Jail. Abdul Karim
gets in the jeep and starts having fun in front of Surya Pratap and his
investigation team. But after reaching Pune jail, Abdul Karim understands that
he has been brought here. So that he does not get a chance to open his mouth, the
first two police officers come and start beating him and warn him not to
mention any politician's name. After being beaten, Abdul Karim calls Kamla and
asks her what is happening to her. Kamla tells him that a new charge sheet has
been filed in his name. It is no longer possible for him to be released within
90 days. Now, no one can say how long he will have to stay in jail. Abdul Karim
gets very frustrated and breaks his phone in anger. Abdul Karim regains
consciousness. After being kicked by the two police officers again, Abdul Karim
tells them for his own protection that he is infected with AIDS. If they come
to beat him, I will bite you. When I die, I will die with you. Hearing Abdul
Karim's AIDS story, they leave without beating him. Abdul Karim understood that
if he was here, DCP Halani would torture him in some way or the other, so he
came up with a new trick. He filed a case against himself for killing Suleman.
Since Suleman was killed in Mumbai and the murder case under Section 302 was
more important than the 420 murder case, he was transferred to Mumbai Jail.
Like Surya Pratap, he outsmarted Halani and got into the jeep laughing. Now,
when the case of Suleman's murder came up in the Mumbai court, he directly
denied the charges. As a result, there was not enough evidence, and Abdul Karim
was released from jail due to the fake charge sheet filed by the police. After
being released, he first went to see his wife and daughter, but Nafisa did not
let him even enter the house. Abdul Karim himself and their life are not known.
He wanted to increase their problems, so he came after looking at his wife and
daughter. Meanwhile, when the talk of Abdul Karim's scam came up again in the
parliament, the weather became hot again, so an investigation officer named
Jaisingh was appointed to investigate and close the case. On the other hand,
Abdul Karim, in the joy of being released, went to a party with all the
politicians and government officers of Mumbai. After the party, Abdul Karim
again went to his printing press after a long time, where all his stamp papers
were printed. He thanked everyone for taking care of this press in his absence.
Then he told everyone that they should become so big this time that the
government also became small to them, and that the law could not be theirs
anymore. Saying this, he encouraged everyone and started printing new stamp
papers again. Meanwhile, Jaisingh started printing new. As soon as he joins the
job as an investigation officer, he realizes that he and the monitoring team
with him have been appointed just to show off, but Jaisingh is an honest and
dedicated officer, so he takes Abdul Karim's case personally and goes to Surya
Pratap for more information. Surya Pratap realizes from Jaisingh's words that
he is not like the rest, who can be bought with bribes. That is why he gives
Jaisingh all the reports collected on the stamp paper scam for the last seven
months. After that, Jaisingh takes his investigation team and first goes to
Madhusudan, the general manager of Nashik Security Press. Seeing the shiny
Rolex in Madhusudan's hand, Jaisingh realizes that he is involved with Abdul
Karim. Madhusudan is interrogated. From here, as much stamp paper has been
printed, and there is a difference of about 40% among the stamp papers that
have been registered. So, where did this 40% stamp paper come from? Madhusudan
asks to take the blame off his shoulders. He only prints stamp papers. The
responsibility of distributing them lies with the Old Customs House. Now Jai
Singh goes to the old customs house's varar and interrogates him. The VAR tells
him that a virus has entered their computer, and they cannot calculate the
amount properly. However, when Jai Singh asks him about the issuance and
cancellation of licenses to Abdul Karim and Suleman, the varar gets a little
upset. Then Jai Singh goes to the OC at the police station and asks him on what
basis they have accused Abdul Karim of killing Suleman. Did they find the body,
or did they get any DNA from the murder spot? The OC says that this case was
being handled by officers Dombey and Rawat. So he doesn't remember anything.
When Jaisingh sees the Rolex watch in OC's hand, he realizes that he is also a
slave bought by Abdul Karim, so Fardar doesn't ask him any more questions.
Meanwhile,
Abdul Karim went to his village, Khanapur, to meet his mother after a long
time. The people there showed great respect to Abdul Karim and gathered in
front of the house to see him. They used to live in a dilapidated house, but
now they have built a palace here. Everyone looked at him with their heads held
high, and looked at him to meet his mother. When Abdul Karim saw him, his wife
and daughter also came here and patted the girl's head and loved her. After
that, he went out for a walk along the railway line with his brother Selim.
Selim told Abdul Karim about settling his future because all the money belonged
to Abdul Karim. Selim had nothing to say about money and money. He did not even
have any bank balance. So, a dispute arose between the two brothers. Abdul
Karim started beating Selim by opening his sandals. Selim ran away from there,
but Abdul Karim's leg was sprained again. After suffering for a while, he
returned home. He had a party at home. Everyone in the village was present. He
told everyone in the village that he would give him whatever he wanted today.
He asked everyone to write in a diary. Actually, he was doing this to show
Salim that he could do anything if he wanted. On the other hand, Jai Singh was
continuing his investigation nonstop. The DCP IG did not leave anyone out of
the scope of interrogation. The politicians were also quite scared. They gave
Jai Singh this case, thinking that he was a lion without a leash. But they
could not imagine that he would start hunting like this. After completing the
investigation, Jai Singh showed the report to Minister Yadav. He said that to
scare Yadav, in this report, from the constable to the commissioner, the
leader, the minister, and then the peon, all the government officials were
involved, and everyone was in his custody. There is sufficient evidence against
him, and he wants to submit it to the CM Madam. Hearing the CM's words, Yadav
gets very scared and forbids Jaisingh from giving it to the CM. Jaisingh will
pressurize Yadav a little more. At that time, the news came that three bombs had
exploded in three places in the city. Everyone's attention then turns to the
bomb explosion. The politicians try to suppress the matter of Abdul Karim under
this news, but Jaisingh meets Surya Pratap again. They make a new plan and take
Abdul Karim from his house and send him somewhere else in secret. As soon as
the local police come to know about it, they go after Jaisingh and Surya Pratap,
but they do not find any trace of Abdul Karim. As a result, the police have
nothing to do. When the matter reaches IG Suri, he comes and starts scolding
the two, but they do not panic, and instead, Suri is given two choices by
looking into their eyes. First, Rawat and his entire team must be officially
suspended. Second, Abdul Karim must be transferred to the Karnataka Police.
Suri accepts their conditions. But Jaisingh and Surya Pratap give a journalist
the names and evidence of everyone involved in the scam, along with the record
of Abdul Karim's conversation with Halan inside the jail. The journalist then
calls Suri on a program and shows the file in front of everyone. He even says
that Suri's name is also among those involved in the scam. Now, the news of
Abdul Karim has spread all over the country. To save his reputation, Yadav has
Suri raid his godown. Abdul Karim used to stock his stamp paper in this godown.
The police recovered stamp paper worth Rs. 2000 crore from there. Along with
this, the Mumbai Police. Even though the Maharashtra Police agreed to
investigate the case properly, Abdul Karim was not at all disturbed by this
because now his name was in the public domain, and so many people were involved
in his scam that everyone was losing sleep. Everyone was afraid that Abdul
Karim would reveal whose name. Abdul Karim was still confident that the
government would definitely make arrangements to release him, but Abdul Karim's
idea was proven wrong again. In the next few months, all the government
officials, employees, senior police officials, and many others involved in the
scam were arrested. The cabinet ministers also took their hands off Abdul
Karim's head and stopped communicating. Ministers Dhumal and Yadav stopped
communicating. When Ganesh bit Abdul Karim, he said that they should do
something now so that the public listens to them and public sentiment turns to
the other side. This task became easier for him. When Surya Pratap applies to
the court for Abdul Karim's narco test, a narco test is basically an injection
called Truth Shriram into a person's body, which makes him go into a state of intoxication,
and he subconsciously tells the truth about every question he is asked. So when
Surya Pratap brings the paper to Abdul Karim for consent,
He easily
signs it. Seeing Abdul Karim agreeing so quickly, Surya Pratap is quite
surprised. He asks him why he signed the paper without reading it. Abdul Karim
says that even though he is a small person, his story is very big, and this
story is not over yet. People should know the whole story. Anyway, in December
2003, Abdul Karim's narco test was started in the presence of an expert team,
and the footage of that test was shown to the whole country. In the narco test,
Abdul Karim mentions the names of Yadav Dhumal Faim Sheikh and also says that
his life is in danger and he might be killed. After that, a few more months
pass. In January 2005, Abdul Karim's mother died. After being released on
parole, Abdul Karim comes to bury his mother with police protection. But even
there, Salim takes money and quarrels with Abdul Karim. Abdul Karim tied him
up, pushed Selim away, and went back to jail. Two months later, Surya Pratap
went to meet Abdul Karim in jail. Abdul Karim asked if he had written a book
and named all the criminals in it. Surya Pratap said that if there was solid
evidence against them, he would definitely arrest them. When Abdul Karim wanted
to give all the evidence, Surya Pratap expressed his doubts and said that he
would not be able to help Abdul Karim in exchange because he himself was a
criminal. Hearing this, Abdul Karim said that I did not take money from anyone,
and I did not earn money by harming anyone. I earned what I earned from the
government. Surya Pratap said that the money that Abdul Karim scammed was the
money of the poor and common people. With this money, schools and colleges
could have been built. But Abdul Karim has deprived everyone. Hearing this,
Abdul Karim said, "I have also lived the poor life you have spoken of. I
have lived my life eating this food of people and using the bathroom on the
railway line. Still, the government did nothing for me, so I was forced to
break the government system and eliminate my own poverty. If I had not broken
the system, the system would have broken me and finished me off." Hearing
Abdul Karim's words, Surya Pratap could not find any other words to say.
Meanwhile, the cabinet ministers were discussing the matter of Abdul Karim.
They were not yet involved in the scam case, but the way Surya Pratap and
Jaisingh were conducting the investigation, it would not take long for their
names to come out. So the PA told them a plan. Surya Pratap and Jaisingh were
leading Abdul Karim's case from two different states, but if 20 different cases
were filed in his name, and if a few cases were filed from the state, then his
case would be transferred to the Supreme Court. Then the Supreme Court will
transfer the case to some central agency, that is, the case will be transferred
from Surya Pratap and Jaising to the CTI. Then their plan will work. After a
couple of years, Nafisa is called to the court to give testimony in the court.
Abdul Karim runs away after seeing his wife. Nafisa regretfully tells Abdul
Karim. I like you since you had the best sandals because at least your feet
were on the ground then, but your addiction to being a big man ruined us all.
Abdul Karim says he will fix everything. Then Nafisa says, If you want to fix
everything, then confess your guilt in the court because our daughter's life is
in danger because of you. I have also ended my life for you, but the whole life
of the daughter deserves a normal life, so keep this last request of mine.
Abdul Karim's wife never asked him for anything, so he went to court and took
all the blame on himself, saying that he was running this entire scamming ring
alone and that no one else was involved with him. He also destroyed all the
evidence against the others kept in his locker. He also closed the business and
paid everyone their due money in court. After confessing his guilt, he was
sentenced to 13 years in prison and fined 252 crores. 10 years later, on
October 17, 2017, Abdul Karim Telgi breathed his last. The man who bought the
entire government system and made history died in complete silence. Not a
single living being was by his side at the time of his death. After Abdul
Karim's death, his wife, Nafisa Sarkar the full report of the scam by
transferring all the assets of Karim, revealing that Abdul Karim had scammed
about 30000 crores of stamp papers, but it was not possible to declare so many
stamp papers illegal, so all the stamp papers between 1998 and 2002 were
validated. In addition, some extra security was added free of charge at the
Nashik Security Press so that no one could scam again, and thus the story of
Abdul Karim Telgi's history ends here. Viewers, excessive greed leads people to
dishonest paths, and the earnings from dishonest paths always bring
destruction, so be honest and find the happiness of small earnings, then no
more big dangers will come in life.
